God Discovered

Man does not achieve union with God as a drop of water might find unity with the ocean. Man attains divine union by progressive reciprocal spiritual communion, by personality intercourse with the personal God, by increasingly attaining the divine nature through wholehearted and intelligent conformity to the divine will. Such a sublime relationship can exist only between personalities. 1:7.2

 

So...let’s break this down:

Man does not achieve union with God as a drop of water might find unity with the ocean.

 

We do not experience Him like one drop of water might be diffused into an entire ocean of similar drops of water where it all becomes the same. No! We are UNIQUE. Our personalities have come from Paradise each one totally different just like each snowflake is unique and never one exactly like the other. Our Father fragments have also come from Paradise. Union with God in communion means that this is a completely new and never-before seen or experienced relationship. Comprehend what I am telling you in this moment. Your Father longs for YOU as another one of His only begotten child of Himself. His love for you is specially designed for YOU and YOU only! If you aren’t finding Him in this way you are missing out on something life-changing and personally transformative.

 

Man attains divine union by progressive reciprocal spiritual communion, by personality intercourse with the personal God.

 

For me to try and explain this to you would be a bit unfair. My Father and I experience our very personal ‘intercourse’ in our relationship. I’m not exactly sure what it will be like for you as you are unique to Him. I can tell you that it began one way and has absolutely morphed into what I know and experience today...often times when I am fully awake and going about my day. However, it began with my EFFORT to find Him in a quiet place with my mind held in a silent poised position waiting with childlike faith for Her to reshape my mind, for the Spirit of Truth to pull me up into a place closer to Him and then He was able to come closer to me. And all of this happened in ‘pure mind’. Here’s that passage:

 

 

The divine spirit makes contact with mortal man, not by feelings or emotions, but in the realm of the highest and most spiritualized thinking. It is your thoughts, not your feelings, that lead you Godward. The divine nature may be perceived only with the eyes of the mind. But the mind that really discerns God, hears the indwelling Adjuster, is the pure mind. "Without holiness no man may see the Lord." All such inner and spiritual communion is termed spiritual insight. Such religious experiences result from the impress made upon the mind of man by the combined operations of the Adjuster and the Spirit of Truth as they function amid and upon the ideas, ideals, insights, and spirit strivings of the evolving sons of God. 101:1.3

 

 

...by increasingly attaining the divine nature through wholehearted and intelligent conformity to the divine will.

 

This is a process of yielding our desires to be more in line with His.

This is a process of intelligently choosing for ‘my will to be His will’.

This is a process of allowing Him (and Her ~ our Mother Spirit) to do the work within us unimpeded.

In this process and over time we become ‘conformed’ to His divine will in our minds and thus in the living of our lives.

This comes by increasing increments of attainment as we put forth energy to commune with Him in personal spiritual experience.
